SchoolFounded in 2020, Adcote School Suzhou, affiliated with Ray Education Group, is the third overseas branch of Adcote School UK. The school is located in the ancient town of Tongli, a famous historical and cultural town with a thousand years of history. It is called a beautiful school hidden in the garden. The school site is formerly known as “The Qing Dynasty Tongchuan Academy”，which was founded by Mr. Jin Songcen in 1902.
Adcote Suzhou draws on the UK’s rich curriculum experience and integrates the educational philosophy of “combining Chinese and Western approaches, bridging arts and sciences” with consideration for Chinese students’learning characteristics. The school offers distinctive A-Level and AP programs tailored to students’ needs. Additionally, it provides Liberal Arts lessons. In general, Adcote Suzhou emphasizes holistic development and whole-person education.
The Adcote Suzhou Class of 2024 have received a total of 84 offers from the world’s top 30 universities including Oxford University, UCL, Nanyang Technological University, UAL, University of Manchester and the University of Edinburgh.
In 2025, a student of our school has received an offer (interview invitation) for the Linguistics Major at the University of Oxford. As of the end of February, the Adcote Suzhou Class of 2025 have secured 100 offers from prestigious universities worldwide, marking a remarkable achievement that fully demonstrates the school’s excellent teaching quality and the students’ outstanding capabilities. Notably, offers from institutions ranked in the top 50 of the QS World University Rankings account for over 50%.
The Group's Academic Development Department provides academic support for the school and specific academic support for teachers by organizing academic activities, academic guidance and training, and holding academic forums.
Adcote School Suzhou relies on the curriculum resources of the century-old Adcote School UK, and is led by renowned international school principals, Doctors, and international curriculum experts. 90% of the teachers have master's degree or higher, and graduated from world-renowned universities such as University of Edinburgh, Fudan University, Nanjing University, UCL, UIUC etc..
