Private CompanyIn 2014 Pingo Space was established in Beijing, China, with its vision to connect expats with Chinese locals. The name “平行国” comes from the idea that the app connects disparate cultures (“parallel lines”) and create outcomes that would not have existed otherwise.
The APP is committed to providing an on-demand service platform (O2O) for expats in which Chinese locals are able to gain direct access to their services, in fields such as languages, sports, arts, design etc.
The core team comprises of expats from 9 different countries and Chinese locals hailing from well-known institutes such as Baidu, New Oriental, Y-combinator and other Silicon Valley companies.
