Founded in 1991, Ningbo Foreign Language School (NFLS) is a fulltime Chinese public boarding school for grades 7 to 12. Directly affiliated to Ningbo Educational Bureau, NBFLS was accepted as the 18th member school of the National Foreign Language School Association in China in October 1998.
NFLS contains the Advanced Placement Center. Founded in 2011 in an effort to create a rigorous and dynamic academic environment, the NFLS AP Center offers students a high-quality three-year high school education (Grades 10-12) combining the AP curriculum with the best of the Chinese public high-school.
