SchoolThe Sino Canadian Program at Jilin City No. 1 High School has an opening for the 2018/2019 school year. We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic and collaborative teacher who would be interested in joining our instructional team. Students at Jilin No. 1 High School are highly motivated and cooperative and members of the professional staff are competent and conscientious.
The school is located in Jilin City, Jilin Province, China. We deliver the Nova Scotia curriculum and all courses are part of the requirements for a Nova Scotia High School Diploma, therefore All candidates must be eligible for a Nova Scotia teaching certificate! (They must have a B.ED and be able to apply for NS certification. The process is fairly straightforward. The on-site Canadian principal can assist on condition that the candidate meets the requirements. )
Teaching responsibility would include the following:
English 12 (2 sections)
Learning Support for all three grades
The Sino Canadian Program is a very stable and successful learning environment. We have been growing steadily since it began in 2009.
Salary is based on qualifications and experience. Other benefits include: a fully furnished apartment, 1 return economy flight home per year, food allowance, extra luggage stipend, medical plan, visa assistance and a bonus at the completion of a successful two year contract.
