In 2018, EF reached a strategic cooperation with the Central Audio-visual Education Center to jointly launch the "EF Global Education Program -- China Rural English Teacher Training Program".As a part of THE EF Global Financial Aid Program, this project is a public welfare program aimed at improving the educational level in rural areas. It is aimed at English teachers in rural areas, disabled children nationwide, left-behind children and students of migrant schools [1].
Ef education First officially became the exclusive provider of official language training services for Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games and Paralympic Games on August 20, 2019.[2]
On November 26, 2019, the ninth edition of EF English Proficiency Index was launched in Beijing. The report shows that This year, China's English proficiency score was 53.44, from low proficiency to medium proficiency for the first time.It was ranked 40th among the countries and regions surveyed, up 1.5 points from last year.English proficiency in China is at its highest level in history.[3]
On March 27, 2019, EF Held the 2019 brand strategy press conference with the title "Focusing on the two-wing Strategy leading the whole person Education" in Beijing.[4]
In February 2020, EF education First will provide more than 2,000 hours of interactive online English learning resources to the national public free of charge, which can meet the different English learning needs of children, teenagers and adults over three years old.[5]
