About
AIC is a company committed to the mission of transforming education within China. We mentor Chinese students one-on-one with professional, ethical and motivational advice to prepare them not only for life at US universities, but also to help them identify unique talents, build character, improve communication skills, foster cultural understanding, and ultimately transform mindsets. We pride ourselves on our alumni, which includes 14 business founders and an author of 3 books.
In December 2015, AIC, in partnership with Caijing Magazine (China’s “Economist”), co-hosted the Sanya Forum’s first ever Education sub-forum. We are committed to providing opportunities to all students – having offered over 3 million RMB in university and summer scholarships to rural scholars, as well as forged partnerships with NGOs like The Supply and Education In Sight. In Yunnan, AIC runs a nonprofit summer camp at a local middle school, and plans to open our first Hope School of many in 2016.
AIC's collaborative entrepreneurial environment allows motivated educators to initiate and achieve innovations in the field – with high potential for career advancement within the company. Benefits include health insurance, Chinese lessons, a generous bonus system, flexible working hours, and an annual round-trip ticket from China to the US. Previous consultants have moved on to top jobs in the private sector, at companies like Google, Macy’s, and prominent private equity firms, or have gone on to attend graduate schools such as Harvard Law School, Teachers College of Columbia University, and the Yale School of Management.
AIC prides itself on its management team, which includes AIC’s Founder, a published author and former employee at the Columbia University Admissions Office, the former Director of Engineering at Microsoft China, and a finance and business development team with experience at Goldman Sachs and Deloitte.
