SchoolLearndo (Learn&do Education Institution) an ESL institution located in Tianjin, China. Learndo provides instruction for American English. Our staff member s are from the United States and Canada.
Our classroom grades are from kindergarten to six grade. There are four areas of teaching emphasis: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. Speaking and Listening is taught by idiomatic level English speakers. Reading and Writing is taught by Chinese teachers. Class will begin with the Chinese teachers so students are familiar with what they will be learning and then the foreign teachers will concentrate on Speaking and Listening English skill. Parents are encouraged to sit in at the back of the class to learn as well but this not mandatory, we believe that when a school and the family work together as a coalition, not only English but the relationship of parents and child will grow. Developing student character is also a goal of the teachers.
Seminars during weekend are another highlight of Learndo. One room with capacity of 25~30 adults is always scheduled with different varieties of topics of parenting, marriage, pressure adjustment etc. These seminars are free for parents to attend. One reason, we want to buildup relationship between Learndo and parents, also improve the relationship of parents-kid, husband-wife, colleagues, strangers etc.
